My final transcript

Hi,

I have got my final IB Diploma result. I need to take few credits. What am I suppose to do? Shall I ask IB board to send my result directly to uiuc or shall I bring my transcript and diploma with me on registration day? My registration date is 19th August 2009.

How do I know my chemistry placement test scores? Can I contact my advisor/ councellor now?

You will need to send your final high school transcript to the Office of Undergraduate Admission as soon as it is available, so we can verify graduation and successful completion of your senior year.  To get credit for your IB scores you will also need to submit authentic IB transcripts to the Measurement and Evaluation office.  Information on submitting these scores for credit can be found here: http://cte.illinois.edu/testing/placprof/ibscore.html

You will be able to meet with your academic advisor during your registration day prior to registering for fall classes.  Your advisor will then go over your results from any placement tests and advise you of your subsequent placement.

Hi, I also have a question about the final transcript. I got an email from the University of Illinios which said that I needed to have my final transcript sent by August 15. However, I'll only have my Associate degree in the beginning of September, which means my community college will only send my final transcript in the beginning of September. Is it okay that my final transcript will be submitted then?

You should send your final transcript as soon as your grades are posted, and this can be before your offically receive your associate's degree in September.  Your final grades should be available before September, considering you will be starting classes start at Illinois in August.  If your transcripts come in late, an academic hold will be placed on your account until we receive your final transcripts.
